About the Camera
This webcam is an Apical model NEOS-360. It produces a 450 megapixel image every hour.
At night, stars are visible down to the eighth magnitude. When the sky is clear, over 20,000 stars are visible.

Initial view:
- Mount Locke, adorned with the Otto Struve and Harlan J. Smith Telescopes
Scrolling to the left you will see:
- A large satellite dish. This is the McDonald Geodetic Observatory
- Mount Fowlkes, home to the Hobby-Eberly Telescope
- Our parking lot. Much of it is obscured by cedar trees.
- The Frank N. Bash Visitors Center and Rebecca Gale Telescope Park behind it. Star Parties are held in the telescope park.
